Yukonstruct and Yukon Women in Technology and Trades offer a five-day, in-person business intensive for tradespeople considering self-employment or developing an existing business.

Topics include pricing, cash flow, business requirements, marketing, and project management. A registered business or completed business plan is not required to apply.

Program details

The program is planned for late November at Yukonstruct, with 10 participants. It is free for selected participants, who receive an honorarium. Travel subsidies are available for participants travelling from communities.

The program is open to all genders; 70% of spaces are reserved for women and gender-diverse people.
