YFNCC’s monthly Investor Table is becoming a working platform for Yukon First Nation development corporations, trusts, and other economic entities to examine larger investment opportunities together.

The Table is intended to move Yukon First Nation economic participation further upstream.

Rather than waiting for major projects to produce jobs or subcontracting opportunities, participants can explore questions such as:

  • Can Yukon First Nations own part of the opportunity?
  • Can multiple entities invest together?
  • Can collective capital create stronger governance or commercial terms?
  • What due diligence is required?
  • What structures need to exist before an opportunity becomes investable?

The objective is to strengthen the ability of Yukon First Nation economic entities to participate as investors, owners, and decision-makers where appropriate—not only as downstream suppliers.

Organizations with relevant investment opportunities may also connect with YFNCC to discuss whether an opportunity is suitable for consideration through the Table.
